Overview

This position reports into our Support Office in Phoenix, AZ. Hybrid schedule in office Tuesday-Thursday. 

 

The Senior Procurement Manager – Center of Excellence (COE) plays a key leadership role in advancing procurement capabilities across the organization. This role is responsible for overseeing vendor management governance, central resource planning, and the optimization of procurement tools and technologies. As a people manager with one direct report, the individual will provide mentorship and direction while driving operational excellence, process standardization, and digital enablement across the procurement function.


Overview of Responsibilities

  • Oversee the governance and continuous improvement of vendor management processes, including onboarding, segmentation, performance tracking, and risk mitigation.
  • Manage the procurement technology ecosystem, including e-sourcing platforms, contract lifecycle management (CLM), supplier portals, analytics and reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, and Category Managers to ensure tools and processes align with business needs and compliance requirements.
  • Drive procurement resource planning, including workload balancing, capacity modeling, and skills development across the sourcing organization.
  • Develop and maintain procurement dashboards and report to track KPIs, savings realization, and supplier performance.
  • Lead initiatives to standardize and automate procurement processes, templates, and best practices across the enterprise.
  • Support change management and training efforts related to procurement systems and process enhancements.
  • Oversee the development and execution of supplier scorecards, performance reviews, and corrective action plans.
  • Ensure consistent application of vendor governance policies across all categories and business units.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a Center of Excellence or shared services procurement model.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in procurement or sourcing, with at least 2 years in a people management role.
  • Strong understanding of vendor management, procurement operations, and technology platforms (e.g., Ariba, Coupa, SAP, Jaggaer).
  • Proven experience implementing or managing procurement tools and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with supplier risk management, ESG tracking, and compliance frameworks
